Greenleaf Music proudly announces the release of Dave Douglas’ newest studio recording, A Single Sky, on Tuesday, October 27th, 2009. Featuring Douglas with Grammy-winning arranger/conductor Jim McNeely at the helm of the Frankfurt Radio Bigband, this collaboration offers three new Douglas compositions alongside four works from the Douglas songbook reimagined by McNeely.

A Single Sky originally appeared as the opening track to Strange Liberation, and later as a bonus track on the Live at the Jazz Standard [2CD] released by Greenleaf.
