Van Morrison is doing a lot of uncharacteristic things lately: giving interviews, making eye contact, being seen in daylight, and agreeing to have the inaugural night (this Friday the 7th) of his Astral Weeks Live concerts at the Hollywood Bowl simulcast on KCRW (89.9 FM).
