A few upcoming concerts to post in this frenzied week of a release…

First, Nicole Mitchell is playing a free concert at Gallery 37 as part of the Umbrella Festival. It is a large ensemble playing music dedicated to Nicole’s father Michael. With a lineup like this, it is sure to be an incredible performance.

Also coming to Gallery 37 as part of the Downtown Sound Gallery series later next month is Jaimie Branch’s Panomic Syndicate. Jaimie recently played the FONT Festival with her group Princess, Princess. Catch her in her home town on December 3rd.
