Every Town is the third track released on this new series. Really hoping folks will subscribe and check out this new music. I will be printed on CDs at the end of the year and by subscribing, you will get one. As well as hearing each track as it is released. The serial release is definitely part of the creative vision for this music for me.

UPLIFT brings together my care and concern for our country, with composition and improvisation for a new and bold team of musicians. Joe Lovano plays tenor, clarinet, and flute. Mary Halvorson and Julian Lage play guitars. Bill Laswell plays bass. Ian Chang plays drums and electronics. It was recorded and mixed by longtime Greenleaf associate Tyler McDiarmid.

This is a full on new studio release for me and I couldn’t be more proud. What’s more, it addresses social issues that I feel are of paramount importance. It’s my small way of doing my part, and pointing in the direction of organizations doing crucial work. We can’t get discouraged. There is too much work to do. Won’t you join me in supporting:
